Regent Excursions

I am going on a cruise in May on the Regent Explorer Barcelona to Barcelona. Does anyone know how the excursions measure up complare to making my own plans?

It's been a while since we were on Regent, but as I recall the main difference in the excursions is that there are more people along on a Regent excursion than you will be with if you plan your own. Sometimes it matters, other times it doesn't make a bit of difference.
