Wine packages?

We are new to P and O and will be sailing on Adonia in December, Could anyone of you experienced P and O cruisers tell us if there is a wine package available? My OH is convinced there is but I cannot find anything about one on our cruise personaliser or their website at all. We are not big drinkers but do like wine with dinner and a package often works out better value.

There are two wine packages, Captain's and Commodore's Choice and they are of 6,9 or 12 bottles. They are supposed to work out at 10% saving.

It's not worth buying a package on P&O in my opinion. There are some excellent wines at relatively low prices and you can choose exactly what you want every night

Thank you for your help think we may just buy as we go though.as Tartanexile81 says it looks a better option.

We have bought the commodores collection for our cruise on Azure on the 14th May

We did some research into what we fancied and went with the 12 bottles

The packages work out at roughly 21 GBP a bottle. If you are happy with the house plonk at about 16 then not worth a package. If you like something better maybe.

I have never been convinced that the wine packages are worth having. The saving is relatively minor, yet you are severely restricted in your choices. There are a number of wines that we enjoy on P&O ships, yet few of them are included in the packages. I prefer to have the freedom to choose whatever I fancy on the night, rather than to have to choose from a limited selection, many of which don't appeal to me.
