Spin bikes on Jade

I assume you mean clipless pedals and want to use cycling shoes. I have previously read that the pedals have toe clips on one side and SPD style on the other but they were in pretty rough shape. When I looked into it the only way to use the spin bikes was to take a spin class, I just end up using the regular exercise bikes.

I took the spin classes on the jade. Short answer is no, don't bring the shoes. They may have had clips on one side but don't plan on doing any real cycling. I don't know if they upgraded the bikes in drydock or not but pre-drydock the bikes were awful. Really worn out and hard to ride and the instructor had no training on teaching spin classes. He was simply a personal trainer that got a job on a cruise ship and his assigned job was to teach spinning. Try one class, but in general, wouldn't bother with it.

And yes, the spin bikes are locked up when classes aren't in session.
