Celebration inside cabins

I have never been on Thomson cruises, my last two being Celebrity and have booked this for the itinerary in December. Are the L-shaped bed configuration cabins the same size as the double ? I see there are a lot of L-shaped cabins so wondered whether to request a double and is this a better layout?

Not much in the size between a double or an L shaped twin. Both types are small and very dark without natural light coming in. Would pay the extra and get an outside or balcony IMHO.

We were recently on the spirit which is identical to celebration we had an outside 3/4 on deck 7 cabin 0127 very big L shape standard cubicle bathroom . Hope that helps.

I always book inside, on the celebration and spirit they are massive about 12 sq meters. Love that they are dark, I turn the telly onto the camera at front of ship to see the weather etc

I agree with SausPud, I find the inside cabins too dark, also it disorientates me, I always pay the little bit extra and chose an outside cabin, even a port hole is better for me.

Inside cabins are good for summer cruises in the arctic. You get a dark cabin for sleeping :)
