What to do?

We've done the forts and Old San Juan and hear the beaches are avoidable. What else is there in San Juan? Please give me some suggestions, our cruise is 2 weeks away!

Love the beaches. Not sure why so many think they are bad. I love playing in the surf.

We did a taxi tour. Some of the government buildings are interesting as are some of the more modern buildings.

Also have walked along the waterfront, past the customs house along Passeo de la Princesa to the fountain then up toward the old gate.

Carriage Rides are worth a shot!
