First time cruisers and super excited!!! But have a quick question regarding cell phone use during trip. Have two teens and elderly mom that we would like to check on at least once a day, tips on the least expensive way to do this will be greatly appreciated.

Check with your carrier and see if you may sign up for international calling for the time that you are on the cruise and then call home when you are inport.

The crew always know where to go at each port for inexpensive wifi and calling cards. You can probably buy an calling card at a kiosk and phone home fairly cheaply this way.
