swabs Posted March 24, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2015 Evening all, just want to pick your brains: I know there is an extendable washing line over the bath which is very useful for hanging ones swimwear to dry. However in a suite that has only a shower is there a similar facility? Thanks in anticipation..... Swabs

Jonoro7 Posted March 24, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 24, 2015 Just to let you know that Regent don't install the clothes lines properly! There are two models, ones with a knurled nut to tighten and grip the line where it pulls out. Regent don't use this time. The Regent ones don't have this nut but at installation the cord is supposed to be cut down to length so that it just has enough length to reach the opposite wall. The Regent ones, well the ones I haven't fixed, still have the full length. Put anything more than a handkerchief on and the line sags, put a few items on and is sags so much that all the items slide to the middle. The fix? just pull the line all the way out, slide the toggle at the end along the line, and tie a new knot such that the line is just long enough, then cut off the surplus. A six star cruise line. TedC Posted March 24, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 24, 2015 There's usually a hook on bathroom door and I hang my wet swim suit on it overnight. I usually bring two nylon suits.
Travelcat2 Posted March 27, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2015 Warning regarding Oceania washing! We have Regent wash our clothes all the time -- they do a great job. We sent in one load of washing on Oceania (20 pieces for $20). My DH's shirt is faded and looks they washed it 20 times instead of once. He happens to have two identical shirts -- worn only a few times. While repacking our luggage for next week's trip I saw the condition of the Oceania-washed shirt. Just traded it in for the one at home. The one washed by Oceania can now be worn when he works in the garden. Sometimes "deals" are not such great deals after all!
