Pandora1958 Posted October 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2014 Funny, Oceania hasn't informed us. I sent a copy of the above to my TA. Looking forward to St. Maarten - again. Was there the end of September. But why no call or notice from O? Lynne

NickCarraway Posted October 17, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 17, 2014 I'm somewhat surprised that they're going to St. Maarten. It was hit pretty hard by Gonzalo, though some parts of the island more than others. There are reports on Trip Advisor if anyone would like to check on the current state of things. 2552phxcrzr Posted October 17, 2014 #10 Share Posted October 17, 2014 (edited) Don't have the link handy, but Gonzalo did quite a bit of damage to facilities on Orient Beach on the French side of St Maarten ... just so anyone wanting to head there can plan ahead. Mura Posted October 17, 2014 #11 Share Posted October 17, 2014 Looking at the news tonight, Gonzalo looks pretty powerful. I'm no fan of St. Maarten but I'm thinking I'd prefer that to Bermuda if I were one of the passengers. Mura
