St Petersburgh excursions

Hi All; Any suggestions on how to spend three days in SP during the cruise. Considered the high speed train to Moscow but too much unrest. Thanks for the advice, too many things to choose from!

Check out the site for private touring companies like Denrus, Alla or Red October. They will design the whole three days for you and you will have a private car with guide and driver to take you everywhere. It's then;y way to see St. Petersburg.

My husband and I used Red October for 3 days in St. Petersburg a few years ago, and it was fabulous. They were very helpful and flexible in designing a tour for the particular things that we wanted to do (based on my on-line research). If you don't want to bother doing that, they are more than happy to do a more "standard" tour, which will really hit all of the major places of interest. We had the same driver, car, and guide for the 3 days, and they were both terrific. I contacted Red October via their website on the internet, and made all our arrangements via email.

If you use the ship excursions, highly recommend Peterhof and Yusupov palaces and the concert at the Hermitage.
