Past Celebrity Ships - Photos

Last week Mein Schiff 1 (ex Celebrity Galaxy) called into Bergen, Norway. I got some nice photos which are now on my blog of ships in the city.

In port the following day was Mein Schiff 2 (ex Celebrity Mercury), which had a collision with another vessel which had lost control!

Horizon, now operated by CDF, was also in Bergen recently (blog post with photos to follow).

I found it interesting seeing so many ships from Celebrity's old fleet!

I always like looking at older ships and thanks for posting the link to your pictures. Interesting, though, the Mein Schiff looks quite contemporary in its styling.

My first ever cruise was on the SunDream. We docked next to the Galaxy one day, and I could not believe how big it was. About fifteen years later, we were on one of the last cruises on Galaxy before the transfer. Wonder where the "SunDream" is now...

We sailed on the Song of Norway in the mid 70's, last thing we heard about her was she was being used as a casino for awhile in the Orient, and had been sold for demolition sometime this year.

We were in Antigua in the mid 90's on one of the Sea Godess ships, docked alone early at the old port out by the fort, went to the beach, and later came back and one of the early mega ships(at that time!) had docked behind the SeaGodess. Our ship looked like a lifeboat for that ship. So I know exactly what you mean.
