Krazy Kruizers Posted October 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2014 Great pictures -- I love Paris. Haven't been there in years. Won't be posting any pictures until we get back on November 27th.

Rare pierces Posted November 3, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) Tom, You need to find the "direct link" address to you photo. The address you posted was a link to the display page for the photo. Rare pierces Posted November 3, 2014 #9 Share Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) Too many good pictures this week. The Wheel-o-Random-Choices picked Hailee's striking Day of the Dead face paint applied by Aunt Kassi. Hailee De Los Muertos If anyone is curious, this was taken with the the 30mm f/2.8 Sigma on the NEX-7. Shot outside after dark with light provided by the F42AM external flash swiveled backwards to reflect off of a white garage door about 5 ft behind me. Not a conventional studio setup, but if it works, it works! :) Dave Edited November 3, 2014 by pierces

boeckli Posted November 8, 2014 #11 Share Posted November 8, 2014 Took a shore excursion from Benoa (Bali) to the Uluwatu Temple. The guide warned us about wearing sun-glasses and hats as the roaming monkeys make it their game to try and snatch these from the tourists - not very comfy in the hot conditions without wearing them  Surrounding scenery much more spectacular than the 'temple' - mostly high stone steps to traverse and no actual temple building to go into ... an exhausting disappointment :(

You were lucky that you got to stop at HMC. On our 21 Collectors Cruise -- we didn't get to stop either time.
Krazy Kruizers Posted December 7, 2014 #14 Share Posted December 7, 2014 Our stops were on Nov 4 and Nov 23. Winds were very high -- seas rough. It was so bad on the 23 that the Half Moon Clipper with all the island workers didn't even make it to the island. Our captain was in touch with the Royal Princess and she also decided to skip their private island that day.
zackiedawg Posted December 8, 2014 #15 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Our punishment for getting to Half Moon Cay at the beginning of our cruise was that we didn't get to stop in Key West on the last day - winds were the same problem. Sadly, that was the one stop I wanted most on the whole cruise - haven't been there in a while and thought that was a nice excuse to take the 7 west cruise again. I would rather visit Key West than HMC. We have been to HMC dozens of times.
