6-2-16 Thursday Weigh-In...First Weigh-In For June

June is here then Summer is soon

Ready for ice cream with a spoon

Hamburgers, hot dogs, beer and ice tea

But do we need all this food you and me

Yes we can have all the food and drink above

Just have to make it healthier, less calories and with love

Water is a must for our bodies these summer days

Drinks lots of water by glass or bottle it's a must they say

So enjoy the hazy lazy days of summer if you can

Remember always use suntan lotion, no burning only a tan

Have fun with family and friends this summer whatever you do

But remember you still come in here to your Lose to Cruise friends too

So each week still get on the scale

To get ready for our next (whenever it is) sail

Wonderful verse, Belle, as we start the summer months. Hamburgers and beer - yes!

I have no cruises planned for the summer but I do have one booked for Jan. 15, and I hope to be at my goal weight long before then.

This week I didn't do so well - stayed the same at 197.5. I've been having back problems and have had to cut back on exercise. I still managed to get to the gym but I took it easy.

I hope everyone is doing OK.

Even after this, I'm up 2 to 183...

(I'm starving!)

Pretty sure it's too much beer - I haven't really imbibed in forever, but the new cigar bar has been calling to me and I stopped by twice this weekend...

Anywho, after today I'll get back on track - the pool is warming up fast and the missus is going to help.

PS - Meteor flew by this morning, but I missed it - this is the remnants:

Hi all!

Belle ~ nice friendly advise you're giving us!

CruisermanVA ~ well at least you didn't gain so that's good.

shootr ~ yikes, good luck with that! Nice remnants from the meteor.

I was so sure I'd be up since I've had a few lunches out so more food than usual. I am happy to say I'm down 0.4 lbs so continuing my slow but steady descent in pounds.

DH is 0.2 lbs away from his goal then he'll start eating cheese with his salami sandwich again for lunch. He just cut out cheese, cookies & chocolate to lose 10 lbs.

Have a great week.

Hi Everyone,

I stayed the same, not good......too much eating out I think.

Cruiserman, no gain is good.

Shootr, awesome photos but yikes for the upcoming test. Sorry you gained.

Jo, congrats on the loss.

Hopefully we all do better next weigh-in.

I am going to join up on these weigh-ins.

quick background, i was 300 lbs 3 years ago, got down to 208, hovered at 215/220 for 2 years, got to 232 on April 1 and it sunk in, i'm fat again so I am making a change.

Our cruise is in Jan 2017 so i have time to get to my goal of 180

This weeks weigh in was at 221.1

Could I join in too, please?

2014 I lost 18 lbs, slowly gained it all during 2015. Started the year with 5 months to lose the paltry 18 lbs, epic fail.

Slow but steady is the way to go. I was 240, went down to 200 and back up to 235. When I started my diet I was at 226. I'm also looking to get to 180 by January 2017. Good luck to both of us!

By the way, what diet are you on?

Hey Everybody!

THE MOONBOOT IS OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

My leg is still a bit sore, so I have to keep it wrapped and I have to do some physiotherapy on it, but at least it's off and I can start going for walks again!

I think I'll stay away from yoga for a while :p

I lost 900 grams this week for a total of 16.4 kilos now. In January my goal was to lose 20 kilos by November, so I think I'll up it to 25.

Hope everybody is doing great!

Isabel

HI all!

Isabel ~ great news!!:D Wow, you're really doing well at taking off the weight even without exercise.

I'm struggling to stay away from snacks!:o There's a bag of potato chips in the cupboard that is calling my name but I've resisted it so far. There's also a box of After Eight mints in the fridge waiting to be unwrapped when DH reaches his goal.

Have a great week & see you Thursday, hopefully with good news.

I think I missed 2 weigh in's but I am holding steady at 135. I got the go ahead I can start exercising again from the doc but just when he says that I have to work out of town at least a few days of each of the next 2 to 4 weeks. I hope I can still get some exercise in though. I am going to try hard. Work schedule is grueling though when I have to go out of town. Hope I can check in again Thursday night.

Had a pot luck supper on Sunday with a bunch of people - not great for losing weight.

I'm going to a back doctor tomorrow to try to get some pain relief so I can get back onto the treadmill.

The good news is my next shipment of Nutrisystem is on the way!

Hoping to at least stay the same by Thursday's weigh-in.

I track what I eat with myfitnesspal and ensure i get exercise a much as possible.

Also, i don't really track weight but more of my metrics such as body fat and bmi. there are way too many factors for weight to make it really trackable. but seeing it go down is rather nice.
