mcgore83 Posted May 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2017 Has anyone done the Pro Saona for Cruisers with Pro E? I notice many recommend the Seavis tour, but I think our group may prefer the larger, slower, vessel. Any feedback is appreciated.
blue_water Posted May 31, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2017 We've not taken their power cat to Saona but it looks like a great choice based on what you are looking for. We have taken their Catalina Island sail on their luxury cat the "Quetzal" and they are a top-notch outfit and you will enjoy your day I'm sure. And the Saona Island excursion is one of our favorites!
Cruisesfun65 Posted June 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2017 We've taken the speedboat to Saona with Pro Excursions and loved it. Personal attention, less guests in the boat than Seavis and a different part of Saona Island. Great service from Michael, the owner.

That is a full-day excursion (9:30 - 5) and so they have time to go to Mano Juan and Canto de la Playa instead of Catuano Beach (which is also very nice). But this excursion is not available to Carnival cruisers (unless you're in port from 8 - 6) and is offered to hotel guests. Their boats also hold 28 passengers. Their power cat is the one option geared to cruisers. But yes, the owner and staff are excellent, just as with Seavis, two wonderful families.
