Is an 11:15 flight doable from PE to FLL end of July on a Saturday.

Looking to book airfare for July 29th, best flight for our family is at 11:15. Was wondering if we could make it. We will be getting off the Conquest. This is our first Carnival cruise, always done RCL. We do have FTTF so we can leave early from the ship. The ship is set to dock back at 8:00.

If you aim to be at the airport by 10:15 to check-in, it is doable if your family pack light and are capable to carry their own luggage to self-disembark and take a taxi or Uber. It is also assumed that the ship docks and cleared at 8:00. PE to FLL airport is just around 15 minutes travel time.

If you can be outside the cruise terminal by 9am, you should not have a problem.

For an 11:15 flight you need to be at FLL NLT about 9:45 -- and 9:30 or earlier is better. The taxi ride form PE to FLL is only about 10-15 minutes (and should be about $15). As Bob suggested above, if you are off the ship with bags and clear of customs/immigration by 9:00 you should be fine.

Yes it can be done easily when getting off the ship by 8:45.

hmmm.....how many people are you with? Do you use uber?

Make sure you download the new app for the port in Ft.Lauderdale, It will get you through customs extremly fast. Once you get off the ship and pick up your luggage there is a line in the center of the building for people with the app. This is only in port everglades currently.
