Smell at Turtle Farm

Is the smell at the turtle farm very strong? I have read reviews that it is an unpleasant odor. How long is enough time to spend on just the turtle side? I am deciding if it is worth it or skip it in favor of an underwater tour. Thanks.

We were there last September and I really don't recall any "unpleasant" odors. And I'm generally pretty sensitive about such things.

We were there in June and I don't recall any odors either.

We spent about an hour, maybe 90 minutes. The time was about right. We were able to feed the turtles and hold the babies.

There was a small waterpark (slide and lagoon), but that wasn't included in our tour admission. I don't know how much it costs.

Ive been to the turtle farm more than once and i haven't had any encounter with unpleasant odours.

you will need about 30 minutes on the turtle side only. But if you sre doing the entire park it can up to a couple hours which is what I would recommend.

From the large pool with the older turtles to the upper smaller tanks where you can actually handle the younger turtles. The kids loved the water slide and snorkelling. The main gift shop is a bit pricey, but so is everything else on Grand Cayman. It was a great experience overall
