Costa Maya Beach Recommondations

We will be on the Carnival Sunshine Aug 2 cruise. Wondering what is the best option for the beach without going the beach club route. I read where we can take a taxi to Malecon. Do we still need to pay a fee to use the beach?

There are quite a few places you can just buy food/drink, to use the beach lounger/chairs.

My family is going diving with Gypsea Divers at Nacional Beach Club. My wife will pay $10 to use their lounger while we go diving. She could've gone next door at Yaya Beach, and be buying food/drink, but it's just as well to be at Nacional Beach (with us).

Just take an inexpensive taxi to Majahaul. There are all sorts of places with chairs along the beach there that you can use there at n/c when you are buying drinks or food. :)
