Been reading various reviews and I have read 2 saying that their cabin was not refurbished. Both these cabins were obstructed oceanviews on deck 8.

Has anyone else heard this or had fellow passengers disclose this to them?

I was quite looking forward to a fresh cabin wihout that crazy carpet and turquoise/pink and as we have an OV Guarantee its possible we may get one fo these cabins.

Thanks :)

We had an Oceanview OK grade guarantee on the 30th April Transatlantic. Our cabin was on deck 5, and def had been refurbed. We had 3 previous Jade cruises and felt the cabin was much nicer with soft colours and contemporary grey with a new TV area set-up which improves the cabin. We heard no comments, and are unaware, that some cabins have not having been refurbished.

I booked our upcoming ( June 2) Jade cruise 11 months ago. I booked an H3 owners suite as we wanted the full view of the fjords while we cruise Norway. I got a call last Wednesday that the windows needed to be replaced and we were being downgraded to an H5. We got credit for the difference in the suites and obc as a " Token of GOODWILL . We are not happy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was either take the H5 or cancel. They did say if the repairs were finished while we were on the ship that we could move. Trust me, we will be bugging them to death.

We were also told that we would receive the amenities that go with the H3.

We're trying to have a positive outlook about this.

That really stinks. The H3 is a really nice room and you have the front and side balconies. Interesting they are replacing the windows - wonder which ones?

I have also read one review where the author stated the OK category was not updated. However; the same reviewer mentions that the cabin had the round stool (which is new with the refurbish). I will be disappointed if our room was not renovated, but I'm waiting for more reviews to come in.
