Availability of taxi in Boston?

We arrive back in Boston on 9/3 from Montreal on the Veendam. We plan on walking our luggage off and grabbing a cab to the airport (our flight is at 1:30). Are there lots of cabs or should we just do a transfer from the ship to the airport?

How much are they charging for a transfer? A cab to the airport should be no more than $30. No reason to rush off the ship - you can see the airport from the pier and it should take no more than 15-20 minutes tops to get there on a Saturday.

There should b e plenty of taxis. We sailed into Boston many times and there were always lots of cabs though we always had a car company picksus up..

Agree that there is no reason to rush off the ship. I was in Boston yesterday and I literally flew over the cruiseport about 5 seconds before touchdown. With a 1:30 flight there is probably not enough time to run into Boston to see something so taking your time getting off the ship seems reasonable. There will be plenty of taxis, especially when the folks for the next cruise start showing up.
