davecttr Posted April 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2017 Apparently UK passengers are experiencing severe delays in flying to Palma because the islands coach drivers are on strike over a pay dispute. The strike is due to end tonight but there are reports that it could go on for some time. This could have serious implications for those of us who are starting their cruise at Palma. Apparently they have been restricting the number of landings to 10 per hour and some reports state that taxis are the transport available.
k8ti Posted April 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 17, 2017 It would be worth considering a taxi from the airport to the ship. It can't be that expensive as it is only a short transfer.

I'm sure the taxi drivers will be there in big numbers to get the extra business. I would get a taxi personally even if the transfers were running. 43 cruises and counting.
