Singapore Immigration

We sailed a few years back on Independence-OTS from Fort Lauderdale to SouthHampton. On the last day of the cruise, British officials boarded the ship and we all had to go through immigration/ passport control in different areas of the ship.

We're planning a cruise from Shanghai to Singapore on Mariner OTS.

Has anyone sailed to Singapore before? Does the same practice apply as with the US-UK cruise that immigration is completed on board before disembarking?

Would love to know from someone that has sailed into Singapore.

We have done the same. It is done in the terminal.

They are very strict there so sometimes the line can be quite long.

This ground has been plowed. Good advice is to have doctor's prescriptions handy for drugs (in original bottles). But nobody checked our bags when we came in by air earlier this year.
