Vancouver-Seattle connection time

 Am wondering whether if the ship docks at the usual time at Vancouver (assuming express disembarkation around 7 AM for those with connections) and we take the shuttle bus, whether it's possible to do a 1:35 pm departure from SEATAC? Does anyone know whether there is more than one shuttle, i.e. an early and a later depending on when people need to be in Seattle? Thanks for the info. I'll hold off making reservations until I'm sure we can make it in time - am trying to avoid having to spend the night in Seattle.

Not trying to be loose with OPM (other people's money) but if you're in that tight a jam, why not just fly from YVR to SEA - around 50min and you're at the right airport, zoom.

The price most days is around $125-$140 one way. So $80 or so more than the bus, but no problems on connecting, no overnights, no baggage hassles....

To answer your question, yes, it ought to be just possible to make a 1:30 departure, but the planets all have to be in total alignment and love must move the stars.

Yes its possible but like the previous poster says its a risk.

We had a 3:35 departure out of Seatac last year and didnt

make it for the following reasons.

1. The ship was late arriving in Vancouver.

2. There were four ships in that day so Immigrations

would not let anyone off the ship until lines cleared.

3. We had a passport problem with some passengers so

officals had to board our ship and check things out.

Again no one could get off the ship.

4. With all the delays our shuttle to Seatac left without us.

5. There were 2 hr. delays at the boarder crossing that day.

6. One of the dogs smelled something under our bus.

Another delay to check out what it was.

WE made the 5:40pm flight.

So if you dont have the extremely bad luck we did you

could do it. Just keep in mind %$#@ happens.

Good Luck

Thanks to all above who set us straight about this. Rather than running around like headless chickens and wondering whether we're going to make the flight, we've decided to book a hotel in Seattle and enjoy a nice evening out on the town and fly out the next day.

:D
