Hello All, I am asking for suggestions regarding an affordable clean hotel with a pool, possibly walking distance to beach for a one day stay before flying home after cruising. Need free shuttle to airport for early flight. Thanks!

Free shuttle/Close to Beach don't really mix in this area. Most of the beach hotels are $25 taxi rides to the airport.

The same hotel off season that is $75 is $400 in February.

"Affordable hotel" is really vague. Some nice chains are near the airport. But then you are not near the beach. Depending on your date, you might look at hotwire or lastminutetravel and se what is available in downtown or beach locations.

Sleep Inn is a mile walk from Dania Beach and has a free airport shuttle and pool. I don't think there are any other options close to your requirements.

looking at November 9th. Just staying one night after cruise. Not looking for anything fancy just a clean place with breakfast a pool and shuttle to airport. Thanks

Check out the Embassy Suites but since you are coming off season, you are looking way too early. Hotels should be very reasonable by then. I'd start stalking hotel websites in September.
