Norwegian Breakaway to Bermuda Review 4/24-5/1 Family Moon <3

Overall I really did enjoy the trip. As I stated earlier we really are people of leisure so cruising really is perfect for us. I did not find the ship to be too large and I would def utilize the spa pass again and spend the extra for the aft balcony. We also downloaded the NCL concierge app which I recommend everyone doing especially if you are traveling with a group. Our families had a great time which made us happy..our only real issue with the trip were with the wedding and disembarking. I also would not choose the drink package again as I just don't feel it was worth the money for me!

As of now we are booked for the same trip for April 23rd 2017...which may be pushed back if we get blessed with a little one :) Hope you enjoyed the review!! Feel Free to ask any questions!!

Getting off the ship was an absolute nightmare. The workers just kept saying its never like this, I'm not quite sure what the hold up was. We normally do self assist but we all had way too much luggage for that so we chose 10:00 I believe. We had breakfast at the Garden cafe and planned to meet everyone in the atrium. That did not happen as there was no way to get to the atrium from the level above bc the elevators and stairs were crowded. I have never seen so many ppl choose the self assist option before and this would be about 2 hours before they even started calling any of the other colors. Ryan and I were a level above the atrium by the casino/bar looking down at my family who were sitting in the atrium and I think Ryan's family waited it out in the cafe. Eventually the line started to open up and my family met us and eventually we ran into Ryan's family as well.

This is my biggest fear for my upcoming cruise. I have never had a problem doing a non-self assist disembarkation. We'd leave the ship at the time specified by the color of our luggage tags, and the whole process would last no more than 30-40 minutes. I always do car service to and from the ship, so a two hour delay is going to be disastrous.

Very nice review~thank you for taking the time to do it. Did you spend any time in the casino~if you did how were the machines and casino staff? So glad you enjoyed your Wedding Cruise, we are sailing on the Breakaway July 10th for our 25th Wedding Anniversary!! How was Moderno, would you eat again at Moderno or Ocean Blue, we are still trying to figure out our reservations! Thanks again and Happy Cruising :D

I did spend a little time in the casino. Not as much as I would have liked to be honest but the hubby had me on a tight leash aka budget lol. I love to go to Mohegan and AC frequently so he wanted to make sure I didn't go nuts and give all of our wedding money to the ship. I played a few of the machines, they had a lot more options then I expected to be honest good variety of penny, nickle and quarter machines. Higher then that I wouldn't know as I never play any of the higher machines. Tables I believe were mostly $10 minimums, I played a little 3 card poker which is my fave since its so easy and doesn't require much brain power. I always want to try black jack but end up chickening out lol.

We didn't end up getting to eat dinner at moderno which I was disappointed about because I was looking forward to it. There was a lunch buffet there on the last sea day and that was pretty good but I'm not sure if it's any of the food they normally serve there.

Thank you for responding so quickly~my Hubby doesn't gamble at all, but I do!!! LOL Looking forward to seeing all the machines and relaxing in the casino once in awhile. I think we may change to Ocean Blue, everyone seems to agree with you~it is amazing. So glad you had a wonderful cruisemoon!! Congratulations again and Happy Cruising! :)

Great review, and congratulations on your wedding! Since you went in late April, how were the water temperatures at the beach? Considering this for next April/May when we prefer to cruise, but I don't like cold water :D
