Looking for something that is not expensive to do in Roatan. 2 adults, 9 and 6 year old. 1 adult has limited mobility. Thinking maybe beach?

If you are on a Carnival ship Mahogany Bay is the cruise complex they built including a beach. ~ http://www.mahoganybaycc.com/

If you are porting in Coxen Hole, you may be better off with a transport including day pass. I understand Bananarama and Beacher's both offer such.

The taxi are not regulated and can be expensive.

Rent a private driver for the day for $90. They cater to folks with mobility issues. Victor Bodden Tours is a great one. Have them take you to the west bay beach, west end village, and places like that. They can tailor it to what you want and what you can do.

Another option is what was mentioned above, Bananarama or Beachers.

Royal Caribbean takes you to Mayan Princess Resort and Tabyana Beach Break on West Bay Beach if everybody is okay with walking on the beach but it is high in price. Better off going with Bodden or the other options listed above. You can save a lot $$$$ by doing the Bodden thing or Bananarama/Beachers. A lot.

And if you can find 1 or 2 others wanting to go on a tour with Victor or RonysTours, who also has and excellent rep, you can get a discount down to $25 person. Plus gratuity (your call on the $) and any food or drink you buy. There are a couple of places they can take you to that have separate admission charges, but with a DIY tour option, you might be able to avoid all or some of them.

From Coxen Hole, where RCCL docks, it's about your lowest cost way to go.
