Any cruises from USA to anywhere in Africa

I've been looking for a cruise to Africa from the US to enjoy the trip over rather than being stuffed inside a plane. I'm not having any luck...anyone aware of a cruise I am missing?

Another option might be to look for freighter shipping if you don't have luck with a cruise line for a USA to Africa cruise.

DFB, that cruise line looks very nice. Never even heard of it before.

It does look nice. I haven't been on it yet though... I only knew about this cruise because it is the first leg of Oceania's first world cruise.

That Oceania itinerary is the last leg of Insignia's ROW next year. We are looking forward to it and the segment before it which is Hong Kong to Capetown and includes the Seychelles and the Maldives, 70 days in all. This thread and several of the others are very helpful in our planning.
