Can someone take pics of supermoon from their cruiseship???

Does anyone know anyone that will be cruising on the ocean during the 27/28 night that could take a picture of the supermoon with the lunar eclipse? That would make such a lovely picture from the top deck. What would be better was if the captain could cut the lights to the top decks for a few minutes (pre announced of course) so that camera buffs could get that unique shot.

What a great idea! I am hoping it is a clear night. Every time there is a night time event such as meteor shower we get cloud, but this time, so far, our forecast is clear skies.

There's no telling if you'll even be able to see it. Just be on deck between the suggested hours. You might get lucky... it also, of course, depends on the ship's position.

Unlike stars.... you don't need to turn down the lights for the moon.
