Tipping at Boston terminal

What's the going rate per bag now? We will be bringing golf clubs, tip more for oversized items?

It's conditional - I do $1 per standard bag, $2 per heavy bag, $3 per odd/oversized bag.

Coming home, if the porter speeds me through customs as they just did in NYC I add $5 or $10 depending on number of bags.

People were tipping $1 a bag 45 years ago. I tip more than that.

We sailed from Black Falcon a number of times and always tipped the stevedores a fair amount. Depends how many bags, how heavy and certainly for golf clubs, I'd tip extra.

No different than any other USA pier.

I would tip $2.00 per piece of luggage but some will do less.
