beach suggestions: November with one ship in port

I am looking for suggestions for the Friday after Thanksgiving, with only one ship in port.... do you think Magen's will be terribly crowded? I like the idea of a beautiful beach with a few options for food/drink for a few hours of swimming/relaxing. We will be snorkeling at several other stops, so that's not imperative at St Thomas, unless someone thinks there's somewhere that can't be missed.

Are there downsides to Magen's Bay besides being crowded? Other suggestions?

Trunk Bay is all everyone says. But its an all day trip. You take a ferry from Havensight dock and then a shuttle to Trunk Bay. If you do it on your own you have to take a cab to Red Hook, a ferry to St. John and a cab to Trunk Bay. Then all in reverse back to St. Thomas. There a snorkling trail at Trunk Bay, also food, drink and rentals. Megans Bay could and could not be crowded. You never know til you get there.
