Mean Reality Tour

We are signed up to do this in less than 10 days. It will be my husband, our young teenage daughter, her friend, and myself.

Thoughts?

Are you on a ship excursion? Is it Mayan Reality Tour? Not mean reality tour?

I believe that goes to the Chachoben Mayan ruins. There are a number of threads here with various Mayan Ruins reviews. Most of them refer to using Native Choice as their guides. But Native Choice is independent not a cruise ship excursion. And the Chachoben site is a nice site. NC has a wonderful tour there. But some recent reviews of ship excursions there (not sure off the top which ships) have been less than stellar. No lunches or refreshments as promised, stops along the way to attempt you to buy souvenirs, little time at the site, etc..

If you have never been to any Mayan ruins, you should go. And take it in.

Yes, Mayan reality tour... that was a typo. It is through the ship. I always book our excursions through the ship for the added security that offers.

We've never done the ruins, but we are looking forward to it.

Which ship and what port?? Do you know the ruins that you will be visiting??

It looks like you will be visiting the ruins from your Costa Maya stop. NCL has this excursion listed with the Mayan Reality Tour. It has 2 reviews and both gave it 5 stars. It should be a very interesting tour.
