Palma Port - shopping?

We are going on the Dream end of June -joining at Palma. Please does anyone know if there are any shops near the port where I can stock up on bottles of water.

Hi, the nearest shops are about a 10 minute walk. Straight ahead as you come out of the terminal building, you go over a flyover across the main road, up a hill bearing slightly left, and will come to some small shops on your right and a big shopping complex including a very large supermarket on your left.

The large shopping complex is ´Porto Pi´ - you will find everything much cheaper in the suopermarket there than at the smaller shops.

Carrafour on the lowest floor of Porto Pi is very easy to get to and used by the crew so must be good prices.

We made the mistake of stocking up too much and had a real problem carrying it to the ship. May sound mad but think about taking your wheelie cabin bag or even case.:D

There's a duty free shop at the port

And be very aware that pickpockets operate around the port - be very careful with your wallets/purses etc. especially near the shops.

The reason for that is,its only open for cruises that are calling at ports outside EU
