Late flight from Tampa after cruise....what to do for 4 or 5 hours?

Our ship will be arriving in Tampa but our flight doesnt leave until late. Any suggestions that include baggage storage?

Rent a car, put the bags in the trunk, and then head where you want. Ybor City? The beach?

The port will store baggage and the Florida Aquarium is right next door.

The aquarium stored our bags while we spent a couple of hours there after a cruise.

Is the aquarium walking distance to the port? My flight doesn't leave until 7pm so I think I will need to kill a couple hours and since I'm cruise solo this might be perfect.

The aquarium is right at the port. It is a great place to kill a few hours and to beat the Florida heat and humidity.
