Trouble sending Papal Audience Request Fax

Hello folks. We've been trying to send the fax to get the Papal Audience tickets. The fax keeps replying that it can't be sent because there is no answer. Has anyone else had this issue?

Does anyone have any tips or thoughts on what I should/could do to make it work?

first make sure you put in the correct country code it is not on the form

This is also prime time for sending in Holiday requests so the fax may be just ringing out.

Try late at night ( their time) or make sure you have the country code correct

Are you sending from somewhere you have to dial 9 or something to get an outside line?

Try dialling the number from a phone and see if it makes fax-y noises. If you're trying to fax from work, maybe they have international calls disabled?

There is a form to order the tickets. You pick them up the evening prior to the audience.

Unfortunately, no, that isn't it.

I have decided to go with the Church of Santa Susanna.

After three attempts at faxing the Vatican, I give up!

I have just sent an email so I can't comment on any action taken. But I did want to offer an additional route to tickets.
