UA Flight Disruption

Today is an example of those things that don't happen very often but can happened and disrupt flights and travel plans with the United Airline Computer Glitch and just is a reminder of what can go wrong if you try to fly the day of a cruise. Many people say they have never had a problem so they will continue to fly the day of the cruise.

I always reminder people of what can go wrong:

Flight Delays

Flight Cancellations

FAA Computer Glitches

Security Britches Aircraft, Airport or Region or Country Wide

Insufficient Flight Personnel

Aircraft Maintenance Issues

Insufficient Flight Personnel to fly the aircraft including insufficient flight attendants

Weather

Airlines Computer issues

And the list goes on and on and on.

I find that I will fly in at least a couple of days before a domestic cruise and three or so days when international travel for a cruise is required. I realize this is not always possible but where you can this is what I recommend.

A big day for systems problems. Not just UA but now the New York Stock Exchange.Keith

Not a cyber attack (Chinese?) they say.

No UA Job Action?

And it is not a Monday!

I guess that is why airports still have rotating beacon or aerodrome beacon at night.

:D:):p
