chloe kitty Posted March 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) We will be arriving at the Fishermans Grain Pier in a few weeks. I don't know if Princess wil have a shuttle to town or not. Someone mentioned that they do. If anyone knows where they probably would drop us off, please let us know. From there, we would like to go to Lone Pine Sanctuary. I understand that there is a bus from Queen St to the Sanctuary. Is there a train? We have been to Brisbane quite a few times, so this would be something different to do. We will be there from 7am to 5pm. Is this doable?? We would appreciate any info. Thank you Edited March 22, 2016 by chloe kitty
Kiwi Kruzer Posted March 22, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 22, 2016 The cruise ship shuttles drop off as close to the Queen Street Mall as they can. As well as the bus or taxi to the sanctuary , you could also be in plenty of time to take the boat trip. Google Miramar Cruises for details , you could perhaps use them one way. Rare NorbertsNiece Posted March 31, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) The buses typically drop off at the Treasury Casino at Elizabeth Street. It's a short walk across the bridge to the pontoon where the Mirimar boat embarks from. It's a super trip. If you head into my blog in my sig below I've posted pics. The journey up to the Sanctuary is narrated. Others on my cruise shared a 10 seater cab to the sanctuary to spend longer there then took the boat back. You can easily pick a cab up at the port. I was on Celebrity who charged for their shuttle into town from the Fishermans Grain terminal. It's a good 40 minute ride into town from there.
