Great pictures

Went out for lunch today as it was my birthday.

Some fall shots - trees are turning early this year.

Shots along the Monongahela River where we had lunch.

And at home:

A friend stopped by while we were sitting outside:

And of course there is a birthday cake:

And the deer are eating our mums and begonias:

That's a great batch of images, looks like a nice week was had so far.

In our neck of the woods, homes have been built further and further into the desert and the javelina come and eat up people's landscaping! (Not in my centrally located neighborhood-but my brothers gets hit a lot!) Someday I hope to get more pics of the babies, they stay right underneath the mommies and it's the cutest thing a wild pig does, I swear.

I hope someday you can get some pictures of the javelina and their babies.

The deer have hit us bad this year too. They are eating everything, even my geraniums (which they never did before). They have even pulled some of them out of the ground by the roots.

The Javelina and babies would be a cute picture to see.

We are over run with deer and the borough we live in will not let an organized hunt to take place to cut down the herd.

We stayed in Phoenix back in the 70's where my aunt and uncle lived -- near Camelback Mountain.

We never really had summer here -- just went into fall too soon.

 

Triplets? We have quads at the NC Zoo. I can't wait to get up there sometime this fall to see them.
