HMC (Carnival) Clam Shell Questions

We need shade on HMC. I hope someone can help with some questions so we know what to expect.

1. Where do we pay for the clam shell?

2. After we pay do we just go and find any clam shell on the beach?

3. How far down the beach are the clam shells?

4. Will the clam shells provide complete shade as the run moves? Or, can we rotate the clam shells to keep the shade?

5. If we don't get a clam shell how far down the beach do we need to go to find shade that will be available all day? We'll be off the ship early, but won't be moving fast down the beach to get the first shade.

If you can't get a clam shell, just look for trees...there will be shade...and there are PLENTY of trees! You can move your loungers anywhere you want.
