Post cruise luggage check in at EWR

When we get off the ship we are planning on going to the airport and hanging out in the lounge. Our flight isn't out until late afternoon. Will we have a problem checking our luggage in 5 or 6 hours before out flight? We really don't want to do luggage valet, worry about our luggage never showing up. Thanks for any advice.

No luggage valet for EWR, so that's not a choice. I believe luggage can be checked in 4 hours before your flight time.

I'd hang out on the ship and be among the last folks off.

We were on United and had TSA pre-check. Although I don't know if that a bearing or not.

Good to know, thanks. We are also on United, but no TSA pre- check. Will be in no rush to leave the ship. We have passes for United's first class lounge and thought that would be a great place to hang. Flight out is at 3:30

We recently checked in at EWR at 9:30 for a 3:00 flight and had no problem checking our luggage. We were on United so each airline may have their own rules.

There are two lounges at Terminal C, one at Terminal A I think is closed for renovations.

A-Gate A20 - Closed?

C Gate C74 and C120. 120 has showers and family room, not that you would need them.

Thanks for the info. Guess we'll go to terminal C
