Ine Posted April 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2015 The train itself will be o.k., but remember you have to put them into and from the train yourself, while at the same time other passengers are getting in and out. Apart from the 4 suitcases I assume you also will have handluggage? Sometimes trains can be rather busy, so avoid rush hours anyway. Also not all trains have special space for luggage, unless you stay in the hallway near the doors. Please stay with ALL your luggage at all times. Every hour there is a special city express train that makes less stops, travelling time is shorter, but there is a small surcharge. Travelling in 1 st class is bit more expensive but seats etc. are also wider and more comfortable. FreestyleNovice Posted April 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Can be done, be aware that it's a 1.10hr ride (appr. 8 stops) by regular Intercity or with the special Intercity Direct 41 minutes (and just one stop). There's a fee for that laste one, like Ine said. But be aware, navigating the stations, platforms and getting in and out of the train might be the biggest challenge. But not impossible, people do it everyday to and from those cities. If you need any assistance with it, don't go by train. If you are able it's budget wise a smart move and good way of transport. celly Posted May 30, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 30, 2015 Thanks for all the help . I am doing a private car for 104 Euro. We have used Tinkertraveltaxi several times and they are cheaper than what you are paying. Excellent service from the arrival on Schiphol being met by a Tinkerbelle at the Meeting point(redwhite blocks in front of the train ticket office), then taken to a clean and comfortable taxi. https://tinker.travel/
