meatball_nyc Posted August 2, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2014 Yes. My son (18) and I were just there. Wasn't a problem on or off the ship. Have fun! ~Robin Every Day at Sea is a Great Day
js Posted August 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2014 So do you mean that my 20 year old can order, for instance, a martini while in Bermuda on the Breakaway but not when we are out to sea? She is almost 21 and I plan on signing the beer/wine consent but this info. would be helpful to know while on the ship in Bermuda. I wasnt aware the rules changed in board once in Bermuda. Thank you. meatball_nyc Posted August 3, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2014 She can drink beer or wine once you sign the consent form at Guest Services on deck 6. I don't believe she can order a martini on the ship. ~Robin Every Day at Sea is a Great Day
wwcruisers Posted August 3, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 3, 2014 The drinking age in Bermuda may be 18, but what's allowed onboard varies by cruiseline. RC and X are pretty strict about enforcing the 21 limit.

That is what I thought and followed last year for my dd. I read the post incorrectly and took it the wrong way and got confused, something that isn't too difficult for me to do sometimes LOL
