Need help with excursions for the Disney Alaska Cruise

Can someone please give advice as to what the best excursions are and how to book them to save money (maybe directly vs through Disney) for stops in Tracy Arm, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan? We would like to do the helicopter to glacier and dog sledding but these are very expensive for a family of four?
