Nasa/uber??

we are frequent Galveston cruisers going on Liberty 4/30, last 2 trips we stayed at Doubletree hobby before the cruise, nice hotel, we want a place with bar/restaurant we will not have a car ( have stayed in Galveston several times but like a good hotel and do not want to pay 300 and stay 2 nights) . Never did NASA before, few questions, how long does it take to tour, would stay at Hilton/NASA if we do that, can we use Uber to get from hotel to NASA? is there still a ban on Uber for Galveston. How far is NASA form Hobby?

Hello, we are cruising next July and will be renting a car and touring the NASA Space Center two days before. We will be going with the General Tickets, this will give us an all around tour of the facilities. Tours start at 10 AM so plan on touring and lunch until at least 2 PM. Uber isn't allowed in Galveston from my readings. We will go into Galveston on July 1st for overnight then parking down at the EZ Lot for the cruise. Our return flight to So Calif is at 2:15 on July 9th so decided to park near the cruise port for hopefully a quicker get away.

Just another reason not to spend the night in Galveston. Along with Hotel prices that have doubles in last few years
