any stores around Boardwalk Inn?

I need to pick up some caffeine free soda for our cruise and was wondering if there are any stores within walking distance. Also any place to purchase a couple bottles of wine?

This would be Kemah, which is close to the Houston (Bayport) cruise terminal. Some people sailing out of Galveston visit and stay there as well.

I would think there would be a convenience store or liquor store somewhere in the area, but it's been so long since I've been there I can't be sure. If you don't mind walking and dodging a little bit of traffic, there's a Super Target a little more than half a mile away.

Yes, we are staying at the Broadway Inn in Kemah. We will be there two days before the cruise to relax. We don't mind walking. I know the hotel does not have a shuttle and we can always grab a taxi if we need one but we like to walk for exercise.

can anyone give me the address or location of where they would be. I will try to google to find the location. Go screwed by a taxi driver several years ago. I didn't realize it by where I wanted to go was less than a mile away yet he drove way out of the way and managed to run the tab up. DIdn't realize it until we returned after dinner several hours later and that driver had us back at the hotel in less than 5 minutes. Now - I want a map in hand to know exactly where I am going and mention that fact to the driver.
