Small change in Norway

Silly question I know but essential. We are on a Norwegian cruise on Azura. One of our party has a medical problem and needs to visit a toilet regularly. I understand most are pay-toilets. Where can we get change for this as we will not be spending much, if any, money ashore? Will use credit cards if we need to buy anything.

I presume the ship will not give small change.

Bars, cafes, hotels, and in larger towns Burger King and McDonalds all have free toilets.

Always head for a hotel. There are usually loos on the ground floor near the lobby. This has worked for me all over the world, and now I'm knocking on, I need it all the more! :)

On the subject of money anybody any tips on whats best way to get currency for Norway are you best changing some in the uk or van you do it on board or in Norway ?

If your 1st call is a town ATM :)

ATM, but in reality Norway is so expensive it is easier to use a fee free credit/debit card as spending less than £5 on anything is difficult.

I went to Norway last year and for a glass of wine and a fizzy drink in a hotel it was £18 our money. The lunch was included with our ship excursion but failed to inform us the drinks weren't included. A small bottle of Fanta £5 from the local news agent. With regards to toilets, there are many places you don't have to pay and I'd change your money in the UK. Norway is amazing though so anyone reading this, don't let it put you off.
