Forthebluewaters Posted January 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2017 Our group has booked all 8 aft-view extended balconies on deck 7 on our 2/17/18 cruise. Does anyone know, do ALL of the balconies have connecting doors on the balcony. I know some do, but will they all open up?
MEUB1112 Posted February 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2017 Our group has booked all 8 aft-view extended balconies on deck 7 on our 2/17/18 cruise. Does anyone know, do ALL of the balconies have connecting doors on the balcony. I know some do, but will they all open up? There are two main frame rails that run down the rear of the ship. The cabins on either side of those frame rails do not have openings between them. There is plate steel that is like a giant gusset below the rails. However, the other rooms do have doors that can be opened to the adjoining balcony. I believe the main frame rails are between the first aft extended and second and again between the third and fourth. In your case the two middle cabins will be able to open up between them. Hope this helps.
serene56 Posted February 3, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2017 the dividers do not open all the way but there is a door that connects some balconies. THe two right in the middle have a steel portion that runs down the aft so that will not be opening

SadieN Posted February 3, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 3, 2017 The two center cabins only open to themselves. These center cabins are narrower than normal. We had 7446. My shoulders hit the walls of the entry hall. One of the closets is turned sideways, the clothes load front to back, not side to side. We sailed in this in 2009, maybe it was redone after the fire, but I doubt it.
