Cabin 3055 on Jewel of the Seas

Our TA booked mid-ship,inside cabin #3055 on Deck 3 of the Jewel of the Seas.

When looking at the deck plans, there appears to be some open/public space not too far from it. How can I find out if this is truly some pubic space, or if it is actually a service elevator or something.

If anyone is familiar with this cabin or area of the ship, I'd love to hear from you.

That is NOT "public space"...some will be storage areas, some are for the "mechanics" of the ship...but it's nothing that will cause you noise issues! No worries! On RCI, none of the cabin hallways are public walkways to anywhere except the cabins on that hall!

On deck #3 there is also the possibility that you will have a porthole instead of a square window.

We are in an inside cabin, so I'd be very surprised if there was a a porthole OR a window. ;)

The space I'm looking at is a long white space in the shape of a cross midship.
