which cruise line for Panama Canal

I'm looking at a partial transit and trying to decide on HA or Princess. I've been on several HA cruises and have been pretty pleased, but wondering if it's worth it to pay about 40% more to go with Princess this time.

Please let me know your opinion if you have had experiences with both of these cruise lines.

Have cruised both many times. We prefer HAL.

Are the two cruises identical, or very similar? If yes, hard to justify that sort of price difference.

If the cruises are different, you need to tell us the differences if you expect us to give a reasonably informed answer.

Of course, both cruises are similar. 10 day cruise with a couple of different ports which do not make any difference to me. Hard to justify difference in cost at this point.

We've sailed both Princess and HAL

On Princess we have done two full transits.

I wouldn't hesitate to take Princess a third time through the canal.
