Honolulu transportation

We will be arriving on a cruise ship. Are there hop-on/off bus and/or trolleys we can take at the pier to get on/off at different sites in honolulu, including Waikiki beach and Hilton Hawaiian Village hotel?

There's a good bus system which you can use to get around. I've read that the 20 bus will take you from the cruise port to the Waikiki beach area and the 19 will take you back.

I agree The Bus is an excellent inexpensive form of transport in & around Honolulu/Waikiki/Kahala, etc.

We have the Bus to get to start of the walking track up to Diamond Head.

RE: The bus...

I noticed that on Google maps, if you put your hotels location & the address of the place you want to tour, it gives you an option for "public transport" at the top. Click that button & it gives you the numbers of the bus you need to use and an estimated time of how long it should take you, as well as how many stops before you arrive.

"The Bus" also has an Iphone app.

Does anyone know how far is the trolley or hop-on hop-off bus stops from the Cruise Ship Terminal?
