It REALLY depends upon what exactly you are looking to get out of the time at the beach.

We arrive in Aruba 3:30 Aruba time and would like to hit a beach before it gets dark... Which beach would you pick and why?

Thank you in advance, Denise

Don't waste your time if your intent is just to sit on the beach. By the time you get off the ship and to a beach, it will easily be after 4pm especially since it's "rush hour" in Aruba at that time of day. Depending the time of year you go, there may not be a lot of time before the sun sets. I'm sure there are ports on your cruise where you spend longer periods of time on the beach. If you're looking for the sunset, go to the ocean side of the Renaissance Mall and watch it from there.
