island284 Posted August 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 26, 2009 Are there any type of religious services on Sunday on Liberty of the Seas? If so, where are they held. Thank you.
cb at sea Posted August 26, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2009 If there is a pastor, minister, or other clergy onboard willing to do a non-denominational service, they will have one. If not, they won't!

Don't know about Liberty for sure but would assume it is like other ships we have been on. There is a non denominational service held at an announced place, usually a theater or lounge. The services we have attended usually have someone from the activity staff doing some readings and we sing a few familiar hymns. The leader has just about always asked if anyone would like to say anything and once we had a pastor who delivered a very nice message. We have always enjoyed the services. wineandbeach Posted August 26, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 26, 2009 2 of our 3 Royal cruises have had a Catholic Priest on board. There was a Mass on Sunday and each day of the week. It is just hit or miss weather one will be on board or not.
nazpaz Posted August 27, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2009 A Sunday morning service was posted on our recent cruise on Rhapsody. It took place in one of the lounges. The service consisted of a video of Joel Olsten of Houston Lakewood church preaching. That was it. No singing or praying, aside from what was on the video.
