Help with cabin selection

Has anyone stayed in Cabin 9001, 9002, 8002, or 8003 on any of the Millennium ships? We are thinking of booking an ocean view and it appears that these four cabins are slightly larger than the rest. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, I haven't but you can run a google search on those cabin numbers and might come up with something.

Also, here is a post that I found on CC.

"This list is posted frequently in this forum, so this seems a good place to lock it down."

Each of the following cabins on the Millennium Class ships (Millennium, Infinity, Constellation, Summit) has some particular benefit over its peers of the same class -- most often an oversized veranda, sometimes larger cabin or nicer decor. Not all of these differences are accurately reflected in any known deck plans.

SS-6131,6132,6145,6146

CC-9043,9038,9201,9164,9162,9160

CC-8045,8046,8185,8176,8172,8170

CC-7203,7212,7208,7206

CC-6135,6136,6143,6144

2A-8161,8146,9173,9138

2B-7049,7080,7163,7166,7171,7173,7175,7177,7174,7176, 7178,7180

2C- 6016,6018,6020,6021,6022,6023,6024,6025,6026,6027, 6029,6030,6031,6033,6035,6053,6048

Since the Infinity, Constellation, Millenium & Summit are all the same configuration, these cabins will apply to your cruise.

In addition, have you heard the term "POSH" which stands for: Port side out, Starboard home. This term came about when the British were sailing from England to India (sunny vs shady side). Look at your itinerary to determine the direction the ship is traveling, this will help you decide on the side of the ship you may prefer. However, please realize when the ship docks, it may make a complete 180 turn before docking.

Also, worst cabins

Worst Cabins?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I started to make a list: Here is what I found so far, and please correct me if I am in error: (M class)

8108 8102, 9100 9094 7136 7142 extra small balconies

8100 ?

9096 Noise from above

I just read on another post that cabins 8043 and 8041 both had obstructed views due to the window washing platform being parked there. This was on the Infinity.

Anything immediately under the pool grill area

Aft cabins on the Sky Deck (unless you like being observed by patrons using the cocktail bar above you)

8108 - There's a picture of the miniscule balcony somewhere on CC

8039 - Obstructed view from window washing device

8041 - Same

8043 - Same

9125

9151

9173 and possibly other cabins nearby - Horrible noise from cafe setup in the wee hours of the morning

7163 - Absolutely no privacy on this deck, completely visable from balconies above

7161 - Same

7159 - Same

9185 - Obstructed View from window washing device

9189 - Same

9193 - Same

Any balcony cabin midships on deck 6 - Amazing view of the lifeboats.

We had a cabin over the lifeboat used as the tender on this deck. It was terrible. When they lowered it for launch in tendered ports it was loud in the early am. When they didn't use it they cleaned it (also loud) and you'd better not open your curtains unless you are fully dressed.

I'm booked in 8002 on Constellation in Dec & very excited to share with everyone the pictures/video I plan to take. I joined the cruise deck plan site, so I can email you pictures from it if you would like. Just let me know.

Here is a foto I took of our cabin- 7003- on the Millennium. It looks to be bigger and brighter than 9001, and I would estimate it to have the same square footage (but not the same amenities or fancy bathroom) as our SkySuite 1 on the Silhouette.

Well when all was said and done......we settled on cabin 8002. Now I just want to figure out what is between our cabin and the front of the ship?

The guy from celebrity told us it was officers quarters. Guess we'll have to believe him (until it's proven otherwise.) Still verrry excited about going!:D

I can share a ton of pics from 8002 (Constellation) when I go in Dec. - maybe you will feel better about it! I have a ton from a Heather on Summit in 9001. I shared one but can show you more.
